Edmonton is a thriving city with exciting things happening. The recently developed ICE District is home to Rogers Place and is Canada’s largest sports and entertainment district. ICE District also includes Stantec Tower, Canada’s tallest building outside of Toronto, and one of only three luxury JW Marriott hotels in Canada.
The city boasts two world-class convention centres – the Edmonton Convention Centre and the Edmonton EXPO Centre.

You have to visit West Edmonton Mall at least once in your lifetime. It is the largest shopping mall in North America and is home to more than 800 retailers including nine world-class attractions, two hotels, over 100 dining venues, and a wide assortment of entertainment for all ages. view info
ROGERS PLACE/ICE DISTRICT
Spectacular, iconic and inspiring are words used to describe Rogers Place in downtown Edmonton's ICE District. Opened in 2016, it is the home of the Edmonton Oilers (NHL) and has hosted some of the biggest names in entertainment. view info
ROYAL ALBERTA MUSEUM
The RAM moved in to a new downtown facility in 2018. Its 419,000 sq.ft. makes it the largest museum in Western Canada and one of the top in museums in Canada. The museum's expansive permanent galleries feature engaging exhibits complemented by internationally touring features. view info
ART GALLERY OF ALBERTA
This world-class facility is itself a work of art. It complements three floors of exhibitions and collections. Its angular windows are juxtaposed against a winding 190-metre steel ribbon that references the forms of the North Saskatchewan River and Aurora Borealis. view info
