Building off of the success of our inaugural Hosted Buyer Program in 2024, we are once again offering the opportunity for planners & Destination Marketing Organizations (DMO's) to connect!

Our Hosted Buyer Program is designed for event professionals who want to learn more about the amazing destinations available across the country, build lasting relationships with DMOs that will help make your event planning easier, and experience top-notch education to enhance your career....all at no cost to you!

PLANNER BENEFITS

Should you qualify, these are just some of the benefits that you will receive:

  • Complimentary registration for GO WEST 25 (Feb 2-4, 2025) in Edmonton, Alberta

  • Travel stipend to cover the cost of airfare or mileage from any Canadian province or territory to Edmonton

  • Complimentary round trip transfer service from Edmonton International Airport to our downtown host hotel

  • One complimentary guestroom (queen bed) at our host hotel for 2-3 nights (Sat, Sun, Mon - dependent upon flights)


PLANNER SCHEDULE

Taking place before GO WEST 25 officially begins, your Hosted Buyer experience will include:

Saturday, February 1, 2025

  •  Hosted Evening Reception with select DMO's

Sunday, February 2, 2025

  • Morning Coffee Meet & Greet

  • One-on-One appointments with our participating Destination Marketing Organizations (DMO's)

  • Private networking Lunch

  • Private reception with select DMO's


PLANNER QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this program, you must: 

  • Plan events and/or purchase meeting related services across Canada

  • Complete and submit the application form provided

  • Commit to participating in our full Hosted Buyer Program on Saturday & Sunday prior to the GO WEST 25 

All applications are reviewed by GO WEST 25 organizers and select DMO representatives.  Acceptance in our Hosted Buyer Program is at the discretion of the selection committee. 

A Hosted Buyer Program candidate who does not meet the criteria will be given the opportunity to attend as an attendee.
